Darren started his singing career at the tender age of 17, it was whilst working as a bluecoat for Warner Holidays that he discovered his unique talent.His uncanny ability enabled him to impersonate some of the world’s most memorable artistes and following a successful season with Warners, he decided to persue his dream of becoming an established professional vocal entertainer.
Well his dream certainly came true. Darren is now renowned for his Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly tribute shows, having performed them extensively throughout the UK to captivated audiences. Apart from Elvis and Buddy, his other vocal impressions consist of numerous stars such as John Travolta, Cliff Richard, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, Neil Sedaka, Bobby Darin, The Bee Gees, Robbie Williams, Tony Hadley and many many more!
Darren’s extraordinary talent has seen him labelled within the industry as "The Voice" and once you have heard him you will understand why! He is also a fully fledged martial artist and as Elvis was a black belt in karate, this truly adds to the authenticity of the moves when performing his tribute show "ELVIS - That's The Way It Was". Being a massive Elvis fan this show is done with total respect & admiration! A sincere & accurate tribute to Elvis from the 50's, Movies, '68 Comeback & TTWII concert.
Darren has had all the suits replicated that Elvis wore in the documentary film "That's The Way It Is" which are the Fringe/Tassle suit, the Concho, Red Ladder & Chain suit. Also he has replica's of the Cisco Kid suit & a few other jumpsuits, '68 Comeback leathers, GI uniform, Gold Lame' outfit & Elvis casual wear.
Darren has appeared on various tv programmes as both Elvis and Buddy Holly which have included the Vanessa show, The Big Breakfast and he also featured in the Cult Fiction adverts which were shown on tv & cinema trailers across europe. Other appearances include the Italian programme Film Icons & various pop videos.
Darren has performed his impressions on BBC radio and performed at venues such as the N.E.C Birmingham, The Winter Gardens in Eastbourne and Elstree Studios. He was the lead vocalist for the tribute bands "Greased Lightening" & "The CopyCats". Darren has also played all the main theatres whilst touring with the smash hit show "Mamma Mia - Thankyou For The Music"

Darren is the only british Elvis Tribute Artiste (ETA) to have been invited and performed in the USA as a support act for the world famous Doug Church - known as 'The Voice Of Elvis'.
Back in November 2008 Darren performed his first shows with Doug both here in the UK & New Jersey USA, he has also completed two UK tours with Doug Church which took place in April & November 2009 backed by europe's finest Elvis backing band, Red Alert.
Darren now has the great honour of being the UK's official support act & agent/promoter for Doug which has lead to the two of them becoming the greatest of friends. There are plans for more shows together in the near future!
